9 mo Appt Task Force Statement and Recommendations

Over the past year, representatives from GEO and the university worked together to create a set of recommendations to the Provost on how to address the issues associated with semester-by-semester appointment. That work has now concluded. Last week the task force presented these documents to Provost Colley, and we're optimistic from the response we received. We think we’ve done good work, and are hopeful that this will improve the lot of grad workers at UIC. We'll be eagerly watching the enactment of these recommendations.
