STEVEN SALAITA AT UIC: CANCELLED; OTHER CHICAGO EVENT AVAILABLE

We have just received word that, on advice from his counsel, Professor Salaita will not be speaking at UIC. Although we regret we won’t be able to support him in person, the GEO stands in solidarity with Professor Salaita. His case has revealed our University’s failure to abide by the standards of academic freedom and shared governance foundational to higher education.

Professor Salaita has several other speaking events in the Chicago area through out the week so if you’re interested, here are the following times and places:
