JOIN THE CONTRACT CAMPAIGN

As we continue into next semester, GEO will continue its work heading towards the bargaining table in the spring.  The contract expires in August of 2012 and, as a result, GEO will be bargaining a new contract with the university and the Board of Trustees.  There are plenty of ways to get involved:

–Beginning in January, we will be circulating a survey to find out what issues you want to see brought to the bargaining table.  If you’re interested in helping to circulate the survey and talk to your colleagues about what issues are important to them, let us know!

–We will also be starting to form a Bargaining Team, who will represent GEO members at the table and help negotiate with the university.  If you have any interest in assisting, please contact us!

The key to this being a successful contract campaign will ultimately amount to GEO member involvement; this is your union, so have your say!
